Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Located in Zanesville, Ohio
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Machine Operator experience (1-2 years preferred)
- Math skills for working with and converting fractions and decimals, and for multiplying and dividing
- Excellent attendance and work records
- Ability to interpret production schedules, operate all quality testing equipment as well as the process equipment as it relates to his/her sphere of operation influence
- Good mechanical aptitude – hydraulics, mechanics, and equipment operations
- Strong leadership qualities
- Knowledge of chemicals and material blends
- Knowledge of extruders and the impacts components have on products
- High school education preferred
- Possess a sound composure
- Ability to work overtime when necessary
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- MUST follow all safety rules and regulations
- Follow the extrusion schedule and produce quality products at an acceptable rate
- Complete inspections as required and follow product specifications
- Peel and grind returns
- Train and maintain constant communication with Line Operators
- Operate Quality Assurance equipment
- Responsible for set up, equipment, and machinery
- Maintain a clean work area
- Complete all projects and duties as assigned
- Understand how your job impacts the Quality management system.
